What is PCHAS?

PCHAS is a faith-based Christian organization which strives to serve

like Jesus. PCHAS meets their clients where they are and treat them with

respect. PCHAS focuses on their clients’ strengths rather than their

problems; and PCHAS encourages their clients to focus on their future

rather than their past. When they do this well, PCHAS helps children and

families find hope and know the love of God.

The Program

Child & Family Specialist

PCHAS’ Child & Family Specialists, Brandy Cantu, serves children and families facing crises such as death, divorce,

illness, attachment and behavior issues and other situations of family stress.


Our specialists work with the whole family to address these issues at no cost to the families.


  • Families struggling with a child’s behavior
  • Case Management and assistance in obtaining community services
  • Emotional support for families feeling overwhelmed
  • Guidance for single parents and grandparents raising grandchildren
  • Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) parent education and life skills
  • TBRI Nurture groups for children
  • Referrals for counseling and short-term counseling
  • At-risk of homelessness
