From 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. each day of VBS, kids and their families are welcome to join us for supper in the Fellowship Hall of St. Luke UMC. It’s a great way to kick-off a night of VBS!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Who can attend VBS?

    Our VBS is open to children age 4 through kids who have just finished 6th grade. All participants must be potty-trained. We welcome kids from our church community and beyond.

  • Is there a cost to attend?

    VBS is free of charge. If you feel led, donations are welcomed to support our event.

  • What should my child bring?

    Kids should wear comfortable clothes and shoes and can bring a water bottle, but all other materials will be provided, including a meal that starts at 5:30 p.m.

  • How can I help out?

    We'd love to have you join our team! If you're interested in volunteering, please check out the link below!

  • Is your church accessible?

    Our VBS will be held at St. Luke UMC at 2781 W. Avenue N. This church family works to make sure that buildings are accessible for people of all different abilities. Ramps are provided, and we will help in any other way we can to help your child(ren) participate. Please email kelly@gcsa.church if you have questions!

  • What denomination is the church affiliated with?

    This VBS is a partnership between St. Luke United Methodist Church and Grace Christian, a yoked church made up of a Disciples of Christ church and a Presbyterian USA church. Our VBS focus is to let kids know that God loves them -- a priority for all three denominations.
